  1. What are the modes of payment to book a room online?
    • Debit/ Credit card.

  2. What is the check-in and check-out time?

    Check-in time is 1:00 PM, Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the Guest House directly.

  3. Is it mandatory to produce valid photo ID during checkin?

    Yes, it is mandatory to produce any valid photo ID at the time of checkin.

  4. Is my online reservation process secure to protect my personal and credit card information?

    The hotel room reservation process through www.pondytourism.gov.in is safe and secure. Once you enter your personal and credit card information, your online reservation is processed through a secure computer server. The personal information you enter is encrypted to keep it protected while in transit.

  5. Is my personal information safe and secure on your website?

  6. While checking availability and making an online reservation, I receive a message stating my "session expired." Why is this happening, how can this be fixed?

    www.pondytourism.gov.in site uses cookies to time user sessions. Please ensure your browser is set to accept cookies in order to proceed with checking www.pondytourism.gov.in hotel rates and reserving a hotel room online.

  7. Do I have to be one of the staying guests in order to book a room online?

    No. The credit/debit cardholder is not required to be present on checkin. If the credit card holder is not one of the Hotel Guests, he or she can make the payment for the booking. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to email us at support-tourism.py@gov.in.

  8. If I cannot find rooms available online, are there any availabilities through any other channels?

    If you cannot find rooms available through the online booking services, please call Reservation Office at 0413- 2358276, 0413- 2358277, 0413- 2358278.

  9. Can I book a hotel room online on the day I plan to arrive?

    Currently, you may book hotel rooms online at least two days in advance of your arrival date. For bookings for the same day as arrival, please contact the Central Reservation Office at 0413- 2358276, 0413- 2358277,0413-2358278.

  10. How do I make reservation for a larger group?

    Larger room reservation is subject to availability of rooms in the Guest Houses. For group booking please call Reservation Office at 0413- 2358276, 0413- 2358277, 0413-2358278 or email us at supporttourism.py@gov.in.

  11. How can I ensure that my online booking has been received and confirmed?

    Once the on-line booking is complete after the payment, booking confirmation receipt displayed on your monitor can be printed; also you will receive the confirmation receipt on your email. This receipt has to be carried at the hotel at the time of check-in.

  12. Do I need to register as a member in order to book a room?

    You do not need to register on the website in order to make a booking.

  13. I found my reservation details online, but why cannot I modify or cancel my reservation online?

    Cancellation fees apply for cancellation of reservations. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to email us at support-tourism.py@gov.in.

  14. Are there any system requirements in order to book online?

    No special requirements are needed in order to book online. The Online Reservation system is developed by standard HTML. Any computer and platform will provide compatible access through an online browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc).

  15. Are there any specifications for Plug-in and Cookies settings?

    No. Cookie settings are specific to the individual consumer.

  16. I get an error message when I click on Hotel Reservations. What should I do?

    It may due to our server maintenance. Please contact the Reservation Office at 0413- 2358276, 0413- 2358277, 0413-2358278 directly to make a reservation. Inconvenience caused is regretted.

  17. How do I cancel my online booking and have a full refund?

    There will be no Refund for the cancellation.

  18. Other terms and conditions any?

    We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.
